FAQs

What Does the Water Reservoir Do?

A water reservoir stores extra water at the base of the planter, allowing your plants to draw moisture as they need it. This is not self-watering and you do in fact need to water your plants but this helps prevent over-watering and under-watering, keeps soil consistently hydrated. It’s an easy, low-maintenance way to support healthy plant growth, especially during hot or dry weather.

Do I Remove or Keep the Drainage Plug installed in the bottom?

The drainage plug helps regulate proper water flow by allowing excess water to escape when needed. It comes pre-installed for convenience — simply remove it for outdoor use to prevent water buildup, or keep it inserted indoors to protect your floors and surfaces from leaks.
